How it works

Make a Phone call QR code in 3 steps

01

Enter your number

Type the full number with the country code, like +1 415 555 0134. Spaces and dashes are fine — we clean them up.

02

Add a call-to-action

The "Call us" frame tells people what happens when they scan. Change the color or the words to suit your sign.

03

Print it where people need you

Download PNG, SVG or PDF and put it on flyers, vans, shop doors, real-estate signs or business cards.

How a phone QR code works

The code contains a standard tel: link such as tel:+14155550134. When someone scans it, their phone recognizes it as a phone number and offers to call it. Phones always ask first — a QR code can't place a call on its own.

Tips

  • Always include the country code. +1 for the US and Canada, +44 for the UK — so the number works for visitors and roaming phones.
  • Print the number too. Put it in text next to the code for people who prefer to dial.
  • Want texts instead? Switch to the SMS tab to open a pre-written text message, or the WhatsApp tab for a WhatsApp chat.
FAQ

Phone call QR code questions

Does scanning the code call the number automatically?

No. The phone shows the number and asks the person to confirm before calling. That is how iPhone and Android handle tel: links.

Does it work internationally?

Yes, as long as you enter the number in international format with a + and the country code.

Can I change the number later?

Not with a static code — make a new one if your number changes (it is free). Editable codes are coming soon.

Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, and the code never expires.
