QR Code for Google Form
surveys, sign-ups & quizzes
Turn your Google Form link into a QR code people can scan from a poster, slide or worksheet. Free, and it never expires.
Make a Google Form QR code in 3 steps
Copy your form link
In the Google Forms editor, click Send β the link icon (π) β tick Shorten URL β Copy. You'll get a short link like https://forms.gle/β¦.
Paste it above
Replace the example link. The short forms.gle link makes a simpler code that scans faster.
Share it
Put it on posters, slides, worksheets, receipts or name badges. Test it with a phone that isn't signed in to your Google account.
Popular uses for a Google Form QR code
Before you print: check your form settings
- Who can respond? If your form is restricted to your organization (common in Google Workspace for schools and businesses), people outside it will see a sign-in wall. Check Settings β Responses.
- Accepting responses must be on. If you close the form later, the QR code will show the "no longer accepting responses" page.
- Mobile-friendly questions: keep it short β most people will fill it out on a phone.
The same steps work for Microsoft Forms, Typeform, SurveyMonkey or any other online form β just paste its share link.

Google Form QR code questions
How do I get a QR code for my Google Form?
Click Send in your form, choose the link icon, tick Shorten URL, copy the link, and paste it into the generator above.
Can I add my school or company logo?
Yes. Open the Logo tab and upload it β the code switches to high error correction automatically so it still scans.
Will the QR code still work if I edit the form?
Yes. Editing questions doesn't change the link, so the same code keeps working.
Why do people see a sign-in page?
Your form is limited to users in your organization. Turn that restriction off in Settings β Responses if the public should answer it.
