Where people use a Venmo QR code
Venmo's own code vs. a printable sign
The Venmo app has its own scannable code that you can show on your phone screen. A printed QR code from here links to your public Venmo profile (venmo.com/u/yourusername) and gives you a sign you can leave on the table — with your own colors, logo and "Pay here" message.
Good to know
- The payer enters the amount and confirms in their own Venmo app — the code doesn't take money by itself.
- Venmo personal profiles are meant for friends and family. If you sell goods or services, consider a Venmo business profile and use its link instead.
- Double-check the username. A typo sends payments to the wrong person.
