Why there's no sign-up here
Most QR generators that require an account do it because their codes don't point straight at your content. They point at a short link on the company's server, which then redirects to your website. That lets them count scans — and switch the code off when a trial ends. People have printed menus and business cards only to find the code leads to a "subscription expired" page.
We do it differently. The codes made here are static: your link or text is written directly into the pattern. There's no redirect, nothing to switch off, and therefore nothing to sign up for.
When would you want an account?
Only if you need to change where a printed code points, or see how many people scanned it. That's what editable (dynamic) codes are for — we're building them as an optional extra. Static codes will always stay free.

Do I really not need an account?
Really. There is no sign-up, login or email step anywhere on this site. You create and download the code in your browser.
Why do other "free" generators ask me to sign up?
Many of them create dynamic codes that run through their servers, then switch them off when a free trial ends unless you subscribe. We only create static codes, which don't need our servers at all — so there's nothing to sign up for.
Will my QR code stop working later?
No. A static QR code stores your content directly in the pattern. It keeps working even if this website went away.
Is there a limit on scans or downloads?
No limits. Make as many codes as you like; each one can be scanned an unlimited number of times.
Can I use the codes for my business?
